Well we did it! My Crimson Tide dominated Tim Tebow and the Gators. It was like a dream. We played like a well oiled machine and Florida couldn't do anything. We had a very long day! I woke up at 5:00 to get ready. I went to my car and the entire neighborhood was white. It was beautiful! The weather people predicted snow but weren't sure it would go as far north as we are. I was so excited! I sang "Winter Wonderland" all the way to my parents house! I got to my parents house at 6:30 to pick up my sister and her friend only to find them still in the bed. I ran in the house screaming. We were meeting our caravan at 7:00. I left and ran a couple of errands got back at 6:45 and they were ready! I don't know how but they were! We snapped a quick picture and then headed out!
We made it to the caravan meeting place at 7:01! We met at the next spot to pick a couple more people and then we were headed to Atlanta. It was a long drive. It seemed like it took forever for us to get there. Traffic wasn't bad or anything it was just a long drive (really only like 2 hours but it seemed like 4)! We arrived in Atlanta and got parked so we could set up out tailgate! Well it was 33 degrees and the wind was blowing like a cyclone. It was brutally cold. So we tailgated in the car for roughly two hours!
My sister and Amy had gone to stand in line to get Elizabeth's ticket. Note: Me and Amy and Matt (our other friend that went with us) didn't have tickets. We graciously drove her over there so she wouldn't have to go alone. We were pretty jealous. Then when she came back to tell us her ticket was on the 7th row we were really mad! We sat in the car for a little while longer and finally decided that we were here so we'd better get out and see everything plus Amy, Matt and I had to find somewhere to watch the game. We walked all around. Saw lots of people. It was alot of fun (even if it was freezing!)
Yes this woman is wearing a Florida Gators "snuggie".
I was trying to show how windy it was. This doesn't even come close to describing the wind!
She was so excited!
Our Group!
We decided to go to Hooters to watch the game. We got there at just the right time. The people going to the game were leaving so we were able to get a table pretty quickly. It was so much fun! We were at a pretty big table so they put some more Bama fans with us. We had a blast. There were several groups of Gator fans there as well. They were pretty loud but not for long. I think they were as shocked as we were that we came out as strong as we did! They got quite pretty quickly. They were all super nice though. All very classy!
Our table at Hooters
Another table of Bama fans at Hooters! They were great cheerleaders with us!
Once the game was over we headed to the Dome to find my sister. We high-fived all the Bama fans from Hooters to the Dome (which was a good distance!) After trying to go around the Dome without success we decided to go through it. We walked right in grabbed a couple of cups that fans had left and took some photos. We met the rest of our group that had gone to the game and headed back to the car for some Vict'ry Chicken!
These are my cousins (L-R) Jaimie, Bullet, and Chris!
It was a wonderful trip. My sister was right I had a blast. I'm glad I went! It's amazing to be a part on such an awesome tradition. This is Alabama Football! 22 SEC Championships, soon the be 13 National Championships and Hopefully our first ever Heisman Trophy Winner!
We're off to Pasadena to face Texas for the Title!... "Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then!"
Alabama 32- Florida 13
I kind of feel sorry for the guy! Okay not really.

ROLL TIDE! I do feel bad for Tim Tebow though. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.
