I've had a much better week this week. I didn't have any birthdays to celebrate or anything to distract me. I cleaned out the pantry Saturday and got rid of all the old food and now I have a pretty clean slate to start with. From now on I'm only going to buy things that are good for me to eat. Now don't think I won't have a cheesburger and fries every now and then but I'm not going to keep junk food in the house. (After I cook the brownie batter I have in the fridge of course!) I still have been very bad about eating breakfast. This is my week for grocery shopping so I'm going to try to get some things I can eat on the way to work! I have not had a soda in over a week. I haven't totally gone to water I'm drinking the crystal light packets that you mix in bottled water. I love the pink lemonade. I'm pretty sure that all the chemicals they use to make it taste good are not good for me but I just can't drink water when it's so cold outside ( I know that sounds crazy. I can drink water all day long when it's hot out! Not when it's cold though!) I did go to my meeting last night. It was good. Now for the scale...
YAY!!! Down 4.2 lbs. from last week. I'm so excited! Which brings my Wednesday Weigh-In total loss to 10.2lbs. in four weeks. I'm so excited. I squeezed into a pair of jeans that haven't seen the outside of my closet in over a year. Granted I didn't look as good as I'd once looked in them but to get them buttoned and actually wear them all day was very motivating for me.
At the Weight Watchers meeting I weighed in at 155.6lbs and a two week loss of 5.6lbs. I got a gold star for losing my first 5 lbs. I was pretty excited!
This week my goal is to try to get moving. I'm going to start walking in the afternoons. My sister wants me to run a 5K with her in a couple weeks (there's no way I'll be ready! She said we can walk!)
How is everyone doing with their goals for 2010 weight related or not? Do yall set mini weekly goals? Do you reward yourself? Does anyone have any good workout DVD's that they use? I'm looking for something to do indoors!

that is awesome!!!!!!!! I'm so pumped for you!
Congrats - you are widdling it away a little at a time. That is the best way. Sounds like you are making some permanent changes. By all means eat something pleasurable and then get back on the bankwagon. Giving yourself pleasure helps your brain too because it is a craving. Great news on wearing something that you hadn't worn in a year. Hang in there - you are doing great.
CONGRATULATIONS on the great weigh in and your over all weight loss. That is great!
Congratulations and wow! This is a good way to be accountable....
